OPEN Späti is a literary collective that understands public space as a polyphonic text surface and stages Spätis as places of permeability.
The collective was founded in 2024 by Sonja Azizaj and Magdalena Filkova. The first interventions took place in the summer of 2024 in collaboration with two Berlin Spätis.
In summer 2025, under the direction of Sonja Azizaj, Katarina Gotic Damiani, and Magdalena Filkova, OPEN Späti presented four poetry readings at four different Berlin Spätis. The series was made possible through funding from the Berlin Senate.
In 2026, OPEN Späti continues under the direction of Magdalena Filkova and Yessica Klein.
